The Jaguar E-Type (United Kingdom) or XK-E (USA) is a car manufactured by British Jaguar between 1961 and 1974. Its combination of good looks, high performance and competitive prices established the brand as an icon of 1960's motorsport. a huge success for Jaguar, more than 70,000 E-Types were sold during their lifetime.

Regarded as one of the great symbols of the sixties, the E-Type was once the favorite vehicle of great personalities like George Best, Brigitte Bardot, Tony Curtis and Steve McQueen.

In March 2008, the Jaguar E-Type ranked first in the Daily Telegraph list of the "100 most beautiful cars of all time". In 2004, Sports Car International magazine placed the E-Type at number one on its list of Top Sports Cars of the 1960s.
